dolphins brutalized, excuses run wild

hyperlink

A what some might call trajedy or even heart braking event seems to happen in Japan, every six months. This indeed strikes me near and dear to my heart; every six months over 22,000 dolphins are slaughtered in japan because of the annual dolphin hunting season.Hunting season? No this is the farthest thing from hunting season. These "hunters" cage and trap dolphins and simply slaughter them.I understand the simple fisherman catching a few a day, but caging them and murdering is on a whole other level.I personally have very strong feelings for animals because they are 100% alive, just like we are. And who, who I ask gave these men the right to end their lives with such pleasure? And saying it is part of your culture! no that is not part of yours or any ones culture for that matter, those dolphins are entitled to their life as much as we are, your culture doesn't surpass that. It is a disgrace to humanity I believe, the dolphins who statistically proven are very important to the human species, for whatever reasons, but indeed are important to us. This defeats any claime to that idea apparently. And I hate to admit that. I just don't understand. What is it that would drive a person to want to do this to such a gentle creature? Insanity or misguidance or whatever the case I see this as a corrupt idea the Japanese have screwed into their minds and it must be stopped. Life is more precious than a claim of "culture."And this goes for all creatures inhabiting the earth, from the smallest bug, to the human race. Not one thing deserves that treatment. It terrorizes me inside.

Global Warming

hyperlink

I have blogged this time around about a very sensitive, and important subject to me yes; but the whole world as well. However it is not necessarily the article itself that interests me, but the idea: global warming. A subject with importance so great i cannot stress it enough. It is real, whether we tend too truly believe it or believe it is non sense. Its effects are to true to disagree with. Over twenty two African Countries are about to witness or already have, their worst wet seasons in a many decades. Kinshasa of west Africa, was demolished last week, as torrents ran though the streets killing 30 people. And it is not as if this just happened once or so. It is ongoing, the past few years Africa has witnessed their worst wet seasons ever. That is not just by Meir chance. Global warming is a all around effect to all peoples of the earth. And I must say, it nearly brings me to tears, to know this very place we have been gifted with, if u think about it just one giant house with a huge family; is being destroyed by the saddest group of all, us. Humans; gifted with knowledge and intelligence greater than any other species on the planet. Yet somehow we are the only ones killing literally, killing our home. I don't know maybe it is that intelligence itself driving our ambitions the wrong direction, steering us to technological diversities and economic whatever. No matter what, we are not doing what it is we were and are meant to do. And now we are reaping the rewards of it.And I think it is our just rewards though. They may be devistating, tragic, and horrible. But maybe that is what we need. A hard wake up call to the destruction we send upon our earth. I mean just think about what we are doing. Polution for one thing. Sending toxic gases into our very life source, what could drive us to do this? It is horrible; we are trully lucky our planet is so large for the gases rise above the surface of which we breath but what if one day it is just to mutch, and we have poisend ourselves? Not to mention destruction of the atmosphere, and the ocean, and the animals. I just dont know what I can say to stress the importance of it all. I feel we are going down a dark path that we hopefully but doughtfully can escape, and it may not be a bad thing however. By this I mean, the big picture perspective. The earth doesn't really care if the human race is demolished, it survived for billions of years without us. And if it is for the good of the earth and it to heal, and all the critters who commit no evil to the world but help with the circle of life then I believe it is what must be done to save the planet. I don't know it is not really in our hands anymore except to stop before it is to late and i pray to the lord ,that we do.

Girl Rescued from house fire.

hyperlink

A four year old girl was rescued the other day by fire fighters of the Aurora fire department.
This makes me extremely happy, proud, and a quite good sensation of safety. First and most obvious it makes me glad to know that kids who know not how to truly protect themselves can really on the proper authorities to help save and protect them. Examples such as fire fighters. And leaves me proud, because of my fathers profession. No he doesn't rescue children or people from fire's, but he does save countless lives of children. He is a critical care nurse at the children's hospital. And it makes me proud to know that a man saving the life of a child is that much of an amazement, which don't get me wrong it is; but my father saves countless lives a night. So how amazing must that be, to know my own father is doing such things, well it leaves me as I stated, proud. Also leaves me feeling quite secure and healthy, because i know someone will be watching my back, and someone who know's what it is they are doing. This proves we have brave men and women watching after us in all hours of the day. Which is a reassurance that I must say we all might need every once in a while.

Brightest Super Nova Yet.

hyperlink

This article interested my deeply for I have a huge interest in astronomy, and this is a huge discovery in that department. A supernova, known as 2005ap, tuned out to be 100 billion times brighter than the sun. That is 300 times brighter than a usual supernova occurrence. This just amazes me how something so powerful, so extreme can actually exist. It is as if it was something in a movie, or better yet something in a dream. You think it is real, yet it is just to hard to believe to be. But the difference her is; it is real. Our small pathetic waste of universal dust is nothing compared to the powers of the universe. If u think deep, and look at the picture on a universal scale, all and anything that occurs to us or our planet doesn't mean a thing. I don't mean that those things don't matter, for they do. But looking at it on a universal scale concludes it differently. Not only does this dumb found me, but the very person who discovered this explosion; Robert Quimby. He states ass well that its astounding how after all these years of astronomy study, new and more amazing things are being discovered each day. I am so preoccupied with my life and worried about things going on; now I have always known what I do truthfully doesn't matter, but this just reassures it. Now I'm not saying that I will go and do whatever I want because what we do does matter looking at it from our own perspective, not to the universal one. All in all, this just leaves me dazed, in in absolute amazement of our universe.

Health, isn't so healthy.

world news

My blog in this instance touches a very strong subject in my situation. To start, i;ll talk of what it bases around for a better understanding. Basically it is about how the medical care for young; children mostly under the age of two years, have poor medical care. Incredibly pore in fact; so pore it causes death. Children's prescription dosage has been estimated so wrong and poorly, that the children or infants overdose and die. How could this be? Doesn't the FDA do a better job than to finally realize this problem after a 100+ kids have died? It is unbelievable. I have a niece, 5 Months and 11 days of age. If she gets a cold i would love to think she will be safe. I trust my sister and brother in law to take more than excellent care, or my father to take care of her excellently for his career is a nurse at the children's hospital. But if the very thing that is keeping her safe supposedly, is actually the thing that can end her life; causes more fear in my heart than I could ever dream of explaining in this simple minded blog. My niece is a growing part of my heart, whether due to my closeness of my sister or whatever the reasoning, I can not fathom the idea of medicine prescribed to her hurting her. This doesn't just apply to me, doesn't apply to my class mates, doesn't apply to just the U.S. It aplpy's to every single person on the earth. Every one has either a child, cousin niece etc. And they I'm sure care very much for their health. So who will we all turn to if the medical business is producing a pore estimation of required drugs for all those infants. What do we do? Something must be done, that is why I'm quite happy to say the FDA is finally doing something about this problem and requiring a stop the the presription drugs. But I still must ask, what if they don't?

Refusal By Supreme Court to Hear Case.

fishbowl
My article touches a very distinct and important fact and opinion in my case; about today's what you might call "systems". A German citizen Khaled El-Masri who claimed he was detained by American Agents on his vacation and taken to Afghanistan. He claims that there he was tortured and beaten for 5 months in a secret prison before being realised. He was believed to be a terrorist who had the same name, he was released however after figuring out that he wasn't. This however is just back round on the real topic at heart here. The Supreme court refused to hear his appeal and denied his case because they thought it might reveal information that the public shouldn't know. And that anything or any case which might do such a thing is taken as irrelevant.Hm; Well this may only just prove the point of Khaled, that something did happen. I take this to heart as well however, if I had something traitorous happen to me against good and against justice, I would want something done about it. And isn't that supposedly what America is all about? justice, freedom ,a right to just about anything? This defeats the entire purpose of this. What makes this mans case irrelevant than something else that may have happened in the world?I would be furious if someone did this to me. Said no to my appeal; just push me and what I have to say aside. It doesn't matter what a case will reveal, the truth is most important in the realm of revealing things. That man deserves a case, whether he is lieng or not it doesn't matter, if hes telling the truth than America is just doing what we supposedly are against. I call that hypocritisism, and I can deal with something or someone like that. Its unbelievable, and against all my beliefs.

"Candy Theft Case"

"Candy theft"

My article is a serious topic, for it includes incidents that are incredibly serious but over ridiculous 'items' ; such as candy. 25$ worth of candy was stolen from a Wells county grocery store and a police officer was shot in the action. The man who shot the officer who's name was not given out, was found dead the next night. Whether he was killed or killed himself is unknown, but he was dead non the less. This is just a simple piece of evidence of how much people don't worry or care about violence, or even people who thrive over it. Because apparently this man does because he killed a person over a bag of candy, something my mind can not comprehend. It may even fill the hearts of people around the world or in a class room with fear or fright of entering a store, and a candy store at that where kids reside. For all they know some crazy person may have the intent of stealing candy and shooting some people for the simple fact of that it has happened before. And this isn't saying phychos are attracted to just candy stores it could be any where, whenever which is the truly scary thing. I just don't get how people even crazy people would feel at right or a sense of doing that makes them think they can take a persons life over 25$ of candy. Violence in the world has escalated so much as to take place over an item such as candy? That is something i can barely believe, but yet, I can believe it. America and the world included has become that violent, its hard to admit but it is true; in my opinion. And that's a sad fact.

Vick Prosicuted for Dog Fights .http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/sports/AP-FBN-Vick-Indicted.html?ex=1348372800&en=69b8650d4386d41b&ei=5088&partner=rs

This article about Michael Vick being charged for criminal offences caught my eye especially. Dog fighting is something that self-deluded humans do to try and make themselves feel, superior. Thinking that because our species is more intelligent that we are just that much better than any one or anything else. Believing that because of this they have the power to do to these dogs whatever it is they want, making them hurt and in most cases kill one another. What makes someone believe they have that right to do to something, to use it as a tool of entertainment, i just cannot comprehend that. Do they just not understand that a dog is very much just as alive as any human walking around and that their life's are just as valuable. That pathetic excuse of a man at least had the decency to fess up about his wrong doings and plead guilty to the courtroom about his dog fighting conspiracy.Vick and other accomplices admit to killing or helping in the murder of 8+ dogs. A truly unrealizable thing to commit to a creature. It must take no conscience or heart to do such a thing. Words simply do not do justice to the lack of respect I, and the world must hold for these men. I just don't know what else i can say.

All Work and no Play.. The Fischbowl

This certain article in the Fischbowl leaves a very resonate sound imprinted in my head because it pertains to me greatly. Mr Fisch. is talking about how when he was a child he wanted to be a profoundly excellent runner in races and sorts of activities. And when he was a kid he would train not easy, but not the hardest he could of. But there were other kids who pushed their limits above and beyond imagining. And they would destroy him completely. But so at around age 16, he stopped loosing. He started doing training exercises thought ridicules and to difficult, run for hours and not rest for there was no time if he wanted to win. I fined this very ineligible because in all things i take great interest to i push myself and wont accept anything less, then more than my own best. I think it is ridicules how some people think they can have things just handed to them in life and can just stroll along with out any effort. Even more angering is the people who are actually successful in that department. I push myself to be able to shove-it in their face that hard work will turn out to beat them any day. I incorporate this to my entire world of skateboarding. which is incredibly important. Because if you don't put in 100% of your effort u will get hurt and injured on an terrific level. A second part of this article is the fact schools are taking this away by making situations completely the opposite of what you might incorporate in a real life situation. Which isn't that schools main purpose is to get us ready for life? so what kind of imprint is that leaving on us. This has a connection to the first section because if we don't work in school on our future life's situations then where does that leave us when we finally reach that age where we need to know these things? In that case i think it is probably on our shoulders mostly to reach that level of knowledge we will need. By the hard work and the effort that it requires to do so.

world languages dying off , BY:Brandon Fiest

In the world today there is an estimated 7,000 languages spoken, of all nearly half are facing extinction. In such a speedy decline as also estimated every two weeks, 1 language is lost. As some languages are lost at an instant rate caused by the death of the sole surviving speaker. Others lost at a slower rate due to television or the dominant language at school or in that nation even. The most hurt areas by this include: Northern Australia, Central South America, and Northern Americas upper pacific zone, Eastern Siberia, and Oklahoma and Washington. With all these languages lost it is a huge impact on a countries history, life style, and true roots of that civilization. Something not worth loosing, for anything.

one nights sky

One astonishing night apearing over Cherry Springs state park in Pennsylvania; an astonishing sight was apparent. Hundreds of thousands of stars were easily visible to the naked eye. Venus,Jupiter, even saturn soon took their bow. And at long last a sight that would pick u not only out of ur seat, but out of your own self deluded life; the milky way was visible. The mind altering sight was so bright it even cast shadows something never seen in the night. And with news that humans artificial lite is starting to erase the stars from our night sky, this was a quick realief for all across the world. Over 30,000 visitors came to the park to share the aww they experienced and how such things are almost truly, to hard to bielieve. To think of things such extrodinary is enouph to flabergast you, but to see it. It just can't be explained.
